1st Philippine Nostalgic Motor Show
Tradeshow International, Inc. is proud to stage another “first” for the Philippine motoring scene – an event that will bring the car enthusiast back in time from the era of historic automobiles to the modern classics — the 1st Philippine Nostalgic Motor Show on May 26-29, 2011 at the SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia Complex simultaneously with the 20th Year celebration of TRANS SPORT SHOW and the 4th MSCC Concours d’ Elegance.
The 1st Philippine Nostalgic Motor Show is a visual take on everything nostalgic in cars. Tradeshow International, Inc. strongly supports the advocacy on preserving automobile heritage. “At the 1st PNMS, we have over 50 vintage and classic automobiles and some motorcycles as well. And to create a truly nostalgic environment, we will also touch on Nostalgic Motorsports with a vintage race cars display which features 11 collectible pieces like Ford Escorts, MGBs, Mini Cooper S, Alfa Romeo Giullietta, Porsche RSRs , Lancer Box Type and Opel Kadett” says Sophie delos Santos, TSI President,
The 1st Philippine Nostalgic Motor Show is also a revival gathering of the “Oldtimers” and “Youngtimers”. If you had driven a car, ridden in it, been in a motoring event or just plain fallen in love with it at some point in your life up until the 1980s, then the 1st PNMS is for you. The show expects to gather car enthusiasts who appreciate or can relate to the words like “classic”, “old school”, “purists”, “vintage”, “historic”, and “transhow”. Some of these nostalgic cars on display and will be vying for the Best of Show Nostalgic are 1963 Sunbeam Alpine, 1957 and 1969 Volkswagen Beetle, 1982 Lancer, 1985 Toyota Trueno, 1956 Pontiac Starchief, 1982 Toyota Corona, 1972 BMW 2002 Turbo, 1972 Corolla Levin, 1968 Toyopet, 1947 Chevy Fleetmaster, 1965 Ford Mustang.
